@  Dave Sargeant : (03 May - 17:15) Forgot about the games today, pleased Colchester stayed up. I see Saunders suffers yet another relegation. Rovers end on a high.
@  Spike : (03 May - 17:21) Hi Dave, it sounded like a lively game, the ref kept interrupting the game though to deal his cards out. I'm sure he wanted a game of poker.
@  Dave Sargeant : (03 May - 17:24) Hi Spike not been round of late very busy with election both Parliamentary and local. Going to Donny tomorrow for a funeral at Pontefract then coming home on Tuesday.
@  Dave Sargeant : (03 May - 17:25) See Tyson got three.
@  Spike : (03 May - 17:27) It's his first hat trick since 2006, so he's happy. Young Marosi was in goal and he did a good job.
@  Spike : (03 May - 17:29) The Keepmoat is like a bus stop, wait for months to see a goal go in then 5 come all at once.
@  Dave Sargeant : (03 May - 17:31) We need to improve for next season 13 in league is not good enough though probably a true reflection of where we are.
@  Spike : (03 May - 17:33) The last 3 games we've been playing young'uns to see how they do, might have got a couple more points and higher position if all the 1st team had played.
@  Spike : (03 May - 17:34) Lund seems to be improving at RB
@  Spike : (03 May - 17:36) Dickov says he has sorted out his retained list but hasn't said who is on it yet.
@  Dave Sargeant : (03 May - 17:36) Its good to try out a few youngsters when there is nothing at stake as it rests some tired legs.
@  Dave Sargeant : (03 May - 17:37) Hoe many relegations has Saunders achieved up to now, must be a record.
@  Spike : (03 May - 17:38) It gives them 1st team experience as well. Could be useful for next season.
@  Spike : (03 May - 17:39) He's been relegated with us, Wolves and Crawley as far as I know, their may be more
@  Dave Sargeant : (03 May - 17:41) Think there may be one more before he came to us. Looks like we are going to get beat in the cricket last time I glanced WI had not lost a wicket.
@  Spike : (03 May - 17:41) His only other club was Wrexham who were in the Conference all the time while he was there
@  Spike : (03 May - 17:42) WI 35-2
@  Dave Sargeant : (03 May - 17:43) That was quick I may have a change of mind on the result because once wickets start falling they continue to fall.
@  Spike : (03 May - 17:44) They need another 157
@  Dave Sargeant : (03 May - 17:46) Have to do a little packing for tomorrow and Tues. Fri away for a week birding in Wisset. Will be back on sometime in the future. goodnight Spike.
@  Spike : (03 May - 17:47) Goodnight Dave

About whom do you refer Anthony?

no comment

Well at the moment they line the form teams up and we knock them down, alfreton one of the best home records before we went there, smashed.

Gateshead 2nd in the form league with a top away record smashed!

Barnet moved up to second in the form league after we beat Gateshead, not smashed but comprehensive win!

Nice :)

however we have played against teams that didn't have their best player available,

braintree, the striker they had on loan who scored a few goals for them went back to his parent club just before they played us

Gateshead away, the striker they had on loan who scored a few goals for them went back to port vale just before they played us and james marwood was injured

against alfreton jake speight went back to Mansfield shortly before we played them

when we played gateshead at home marwood was not playing again

when we played barnet their top scorer marsh brown was suspended

but im sure we would have won most of those games anyway, today was another good result against a decent side, and we are putting together a good undefeated streak,

Joe, alfreton are the 4th placed team not barnet, they have lost 10 games so far, have only kept 2 clean sheets and have let in 42 goals this season, somebody did say you can still be in the top 5 even with a bad defence i can't remember his name though, so i say good luck to alfreton i hope they go up with us

Crazy, please stab yourself in the eye..... You talk a lot of garbage. You are without doubt Lutons biggest critic. One flew over the cuckoos nest does not come close.

For those of you who were not able to get to Barnet the goals are available to view on the Luton Town web site.

Funny thing you know, I thought that on of Barnet's most creative players was their goalkeeper.

Lovely ball from smith to gray for the first, that just shows the difference in his game this season.

What a strike from lawless for the 2nd, he is on fire

Also a nice ball from Gray across the Benson. A very easy, simple ball to play but last season he would probably have had a wild lash at it in that position and seen it fly off behind for a goal kick.
