Righteo guys, the server required some work, so apologies for the long downtime, everything seems to be back to normal, but if you run into any problems, please send me a message. Thanks, Dean84
@  Spike : (23 May - 17:36) Bye Dave
@  Spike : (23 May - 19:38) Southend promoted 7-6 on pens
@  BasO from th... : (23 May - 19:54) Yeah
@  Spike : (23 May - 20:06) Evening Bas
@  BasO from th... : (23 May - 20:13) Evening Spike
@  Spike : (23 May - 20:15) Did you want Sarfend down with you next season
@  BasO from th... : (23 May - 20:16) No I wanted them up with us.
@  Spike : (23 May - 20:18) Any news on a new manager?
@  BasO from th... : (23 May - 20:18) So yeah
@  BasO from th... : (23 May - 20:20) I reckon we'll know next week.They won't tell us until September though.
@  Spike : (23 May - 20:22) Our clubs like that. We find out a player has signed for us when he's on the team sheet for the first game.
@  BasO from th... : (23 May - 20:27) Haha.Since Becchetti's taken over we don't hear anything.
@  Spike : (23 May - 20:29) Has he got anything to say though? He doesn't seem to know much about football.
@  BasO from th... : (23 May - 20:33) Well he knows one thing now.
@  Spike : (23 May - 20:34) What's that? That he hasn't done things the right way this season
@  BasO from th... : (23 May - 20:36) He kept a manager that was heading for relegation.
@  BasO from th... : (23 May - 20:37) Coming back to Sarfend,It's fairly local to me.Nearer than the O's.
@  Spike : (23 May - 20:39) The big question is, will he have learnt from that or start doing a Cellino and have a manager each month if they lose a game.
@  BasO from th... : (23 May - 20:44) Haha,I can't answer that one.If we go the season undefeated it's quite possible that won't happen.
@  Spike : (23 May - 20:50) That's a big if!
@  BasO from th... : (23 May - 20:51) I watched the playoff final today on the laptop. How would you rate the quality of it.
@  BasO from th... : (23 May - 20:52) more on that
@  BasO from th... : (23 May - 20:53) I keep pressing enter when I shouldn't
@  Spike : (23 May - 20:53) I didn't see much of it but didn't think either of them are up to playing in league 1 without a few changes
@  Spike : (23 May - 20:53) Have you had a drink? lol
@  BasO from th... : (23 May - 20:56) No,I go to drop a line and then it's gone.
Shift enter.Got it now!
@  BasO from th... : (23 May - 20:57) Now for what I was gonna say
@  BasO from th... : (23 May - 21:00) HD TV =8
SD TV =5
Laptop for me =2 to 3
I'm assuming you've got a more upto date computer than mine. How would you rate the quality on yours.
@  Spike : (23 May - 21:05) Picture quality is normally good for me unless it isn't a very good source. I have got a decent pc that I built myself and have got 3 monitors and can use the tv as well if I need more. I can watch 4 HD quality streams full screen without any deterioration in quality.
@  BasO from th... : (23 May - 21:10) Wow! I need an upgrade!
@  Spike : (23 May - 21:12) It's no good getting one from somewhere like PC World though, they only put cheap components in them.
@  BasO from th... : (23 May - 21:18) I'm gonna look into building one myself then.My screen is is only 480 I think.Acer aspire 1640.Good in the day,about 10 years ago.
@  Spike : (23 May - 21:22) The screens on those are 1280x800 so won't show a full HD picture. That will be one reason why your picture quality isn't as good as it could be.
@  Spike : (23 May - 21:25) Even on a modern laptop you won't get the quality of picture you can on a desktop. The graphics card in my PC cost more than most laptops do
@  BasO from th... : (23 May - 21:31) That's made me feel better. LOL!!!
@  Spike : (23 May - 21:41) I'm going to say goodnight Bas, it's been a long day.
@  BasO from th... : (23 May - 21:43) Cheers for the info.Goodnight Spike.
@  Spike : (24 May - 06:53) And in the Phillipines:
https://fbcdn-sphoto...26edf8dcffd078f
@  EricW1959 : (24 May - 14:58) Stoke 5 Liverpool 0 at half time. Wow!
@  orientfrance : (24 May - 16:37) Preston 1 up already
@  Spike : (24 May - 17:03) 2-0
@  Spike : (24 May - 17:36) HT Preston 3-0 up
@  Spike : (24 May - 17:59) Preston 4-0 up
@  Spike : (24 May - 18:08) Big Sam left West Ham.
@  Spike : (25 May - 10:45) Nigel Clough sacked at Blades
@  Spike : (25 May - 13:40) So North End have gone up. Southend have gone up. Stands to reason that the one in the Middle will go up.
@  orientfrance : (25 May - 18:21) Hope you didn't have a bet on it Spike!! lol!
@  Spike : (25 May - 18:32) I didn't, I don't gamble
@  Spike : (25 May - 18:35) Talking about betting, I see the bookies have got Leeds as one of the favourites to be relegated next season at 4/1

About whom do you refer Anthony?

no comment

Well at the moment they line the form teams up and we knock them down, alfreton one of the best home records before we went there, smashed.

Gateshead 2nd in the form league with a top away record smashed!

Barnet moved up to second in the form league after we beat Gateshead, not smashed but comprehensive win!

Nice :)

however we have played against teams that didn't have their best player available,

braintree, the striker they had on loan who scored a few goals for them went back to his parent club just before they played us

Gateshead away, the striker they had on loan who scored a few goals for them went back to port vale just before they played us and james marwood was injured

against alfreton jake speight went back to Mansfield shortly before we played them

when we played gateshead at home marwood was not playing again

when we played barnet their top scorer marsh brown was suspended

but im sure we would have won most of those games anyway, today was another good result against a decent side, and we are putting together a good undefeated streak,

Joe, alfreton are the 4th placed team not barnet, they have lost 10 games so far, have only kept 2 clean sheets and have let in 42 goals this season, somebody did say you can still be in the top 5 even with a bad defence i can't remember his name though, so i say good luck to alfreton i hope they go up with us

Crazy, please stab yourself in the eye..... You talk a lot of garbage. You are without doubt Lutons biggest critic. One flew over the cuckoos nest does not come close.

For those of you who were not able to get to Barnet the goals are available to view on the Luton Town web site.

Funny thing you know, I thought that on of Barnet's most creative players was their goalkeeper.

Lovely ball from smith to gray for the first, that just shows the difference in his game this season.

What a strike from lawless for the 2nd, he is on fire

Also a nice ball from Gray across the Benson. A very easy, simple ball to play but last season he would probably have had a wild lash at it in that position and seen it fly off behind for a goal kick.
